BECOME A STEWARD-ORGANIZER!

Our Collective Action Team (CAT) is the group of organizers who keep our union running! The CAT is responsible for planning and carrying out actions, holding meetings, fundraising, and keeping members up to date about our campaigns.

Hand-in-hand with organizing collective action is the work of stewarding our union: of enforcing the contract and standing up for the rights of our coworkers. In GOLD-UE, all CAT members are steward-organizers, and all steward-organizers support the CAT. Our steward-organizers have a wide variety of skill sets, and each member dedicates the amount of time that works for them. We welcome any and all contributions to our organizing and stewardship efforts!

To get involved, get in touch! You may:

• Reach out to one of our chief stewards, or any elected official for that matter.
